Lukenya Trail Run - Event Information
Basic Event Information Race Information & Entry Form T-Shirts All entrants will each receive a free event souvenir T-Shirt, Race Bib (personalized if registered before 5th march) and a Finisher's Medal for all participants who finish their respective races.  This will be distributed with your Race Pack at Registration prior to the event. Please ensure you identify your correct T-Shirt size on your entry form. T-shirt sizes cannot be swapped or changed at Registration. Events & Distances The WildMan Trail Run Series (of which the Lukenya Trail Run is a part of) offers the following standard trail-running distances to suit all ages and abilities: 20km, 10km, 5km. Proposed Start Times Common start at 0800hrs for all events. All events can be entered either as a run or a walk. PLEASE NOTE: late starters will not be permitted more than 30minutes after start time. Note: All entrants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the event and the accompanying adult takes full responsibility for the safety of the entrant under 16.   Entry Fees Entry fees for any of the Lukenya Trail Run events will be processed by 'Lukenya Trail Run' and an item will appear to this effect on your credit card statement. You will need a credit card or Mpesa account to enter online. Alternatively you can post a hard copy of the entry form (Click Here to Download) along with a cheque. Entry Fees Schedule          On or Before 1st March 2015 1st April 2015 3rd May 2015 20Km & 10Km Kes. 2,500 Kes. 3,000 Kes. 3,500 5Km Trail Run Kes. 2,500 Kes. 2,500 Kes. 2,500       Withdrawals Withdrawals Entry Fees are non-refundable after 5:00pm 3rd April 2015. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   Entry Limits  Since the race is held in a private wildlife conservancy, safety constraints at the start and finish, on the course would impose a total limit 1000 participants for both the 20Km and 10Km Trail Running Events. Please ensure you enter early to avoid disappointment. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, and any entries received after the limit is reached for any particular event will be returned with their payment. There is no wait list. Entry Transfer Policy The entries are non-transferrable   Transport, Directions  & Parking Options Return Transport from Nairobi will be provided at a cost Transport Kes. 1000. There will be enough parking space at the Start/Finish Area, However, vehicles will not be allowed in or out of this area from 7.45am to 10.30am.   Certificates Finishers will be able to download their own online certificate after 9:00pm Sunday 3rd May 2015 at no cost. If you wish to receive a printed A4 card certificate by mail, an additional Kes. 1,000 fee is payable with your entry fee. The certificate will be posted within one weeks of the event in a standard envelope. Please note that any damage to the certificate caused by the postal service is not the responsibility of the Event Organisers. NB: Please ensure you spell your address details correctly when entering otherwise you run the risk of not receiving your certificate. Race Pack Pick Up Participants must bring their photo ID with them to collect their Race Number and Race Pack from registration desk at Lukenya race Venue on Saturday 2nd May from 10am to 6pm and Sunday 3rd from 6am to 7.30am. You can choose the option to have your race packet delivered to your home/office during online registration for an extra fee of Kes. 500.
